Abu Dhabi International Airport has been ranked top in eight customer service categories in the recent Airports Council International (ACI) ASQ results for the Middle East Region - a key benchmark for customer service in the global airports' industry.
More specifically, Abu Dhabi International Airport excelled in categories that demonstrate the efficiency of the airport, the service offered and the helpfulness of the staff.
Based on these achievements, Abu Dhabi International Airport was awarded with the "Best Improvement Award" for the Middle Eastern region in 2009.
ASQ Programme Director Craig Bradbrook, explains:
"The awards recognise those airports that have made the most progress in improving service quality. The 2009 passenger ratings show that despite the economic crisis, overall satisfaction at airports increased by almost three percent worldwide compared to 2008."
Ahmad Al Haddabi, Senior Vice President of Airports Operations for ADAC said, "Naturally, we thank our customers and passengers for affording us these ratings; they clearly vindicate the hard-work of all our staff and related agencies at the airport who are striving to ensure Abu Dhabi offers some of the world's best airport environments. I thank and congratulate the whole team for their continued efforts and can promise our customers we will continue to work even harder during the coming year."
