- Located in T1 transit, on the right side just after the Departure Immigration Hall, the airport hotel offers 40 rooms, a business centre, a health club with gymnasium, jacuzzi & sauna and a children's play area.

Business Centre
- Located within the Airport Hotel, the business centre provides various office services such as telephone, facsimile and internet access.
- Eligibility: Free to all Airport Hotel Lounge guests. A fee of AED15 is applicable to the public for 30 minutes usage [Tel: +971 2 5757377].
Fitness Centre
- Located within the Airport Hotel, the facility is available for guests of the hotel.
- Non-hotel guests can use the facility at an hourly charge of AED23 per person .
- Proper sports attire is required.

- For this lounge, any passenger can pay on the spot with cash or credit card, cash AED 70 and AED 75 by credit card to use its facilities, this charge will be for 4 hours after which the passenger will have to renew the payment.
- Al Dana Lounge (“by-invitation only”)
- Located in T1 transit satellite at the ground floor, entering through Gates 14 and 15.

- Etihad Premium Lounge

Transportation
Bus (Municipal / Public Bus)
- Bus 901 arrives outside the arrival halls of Terminals 1 and 2
- It operates between the airport and the city at one-hour intervals at AED3 per trip

- The Golden Class Meet and Assist is available for both outgoing and incoming passengers.

Ticketing and Travel Insurance
- Located in the departure check-in hall of T1 and T2, the centralized ticketing counter offers tickets from more than 30 airlines operating from the ADIA

Dubai International Airport
Al Majlis
Al Majlis Service is a special facility. It was established in 1998 at Dubai International Airport. Users of this service get specialized and personalized service. Al Majlis provides special check in, immigration and baggage clearance facilities. By this a passenger can quickly finish the travel formalities and is then escorted to the Sheikh Rashid Terminal by any transportation he choose, either bus or limousine.
APMS
Airport Pass Management System (APMS) is an application developed to automate the Pass Management process. This online registration service providing request for pass and access rights over the internet facilitates the pass process involving the concerned parties simultaneously integrating as part of a Dubai e-government solution.
Executive Flight Services (EFS)
At Dubai International Airport, we make sure we cater for everyone’s needs. Our Executive Flight Services (EFS) takes care of those niche passengers that often travel through Dubai International Airport and avail its numerous facilities.
SMS Flights Notification
This simple to use service means that flight information can be delivered direct to your mobile phone with an UAE- Etisalat SIM card installed. The total cost for receiving the specified flight information will 18 fils if you are within UAE and 60 fils if you are abroad.
Dubai International Hotel (DIH)
For long-haul passengers or business travelers on tight schedules, rest and relaxation are luxury that can now be well afforded. The deluxe five star Dubai International Hotel is located on the Arrivals level of sheikh Rashid Terminal and occupies a further 2 floors above that.
Flight Information System
Flight information is a new e-service that DIA present to its passengers. The flight information is a complete help to the traveler or passenger in order to know the details of any arrived or departed flights from DIA. It’s divided into five service.

Prayer areas are available at the Airport Main Passenger Terminal Transit Area and at the Departure Area (Ground floor). Mosques are located in both East and West Cargo Terminals 1 and 2.
Sharjah Airport Travel Agency (SATA)
SATA joined the BSP (Billing & Settlement Plan) of International Air Transport Association (IATA) recently. This will help provide more facilities to travelers getting their airline tickets through SATA. Booking will be done through the automated Galileo system and tickets would be issued on the spot. It provides passengers with a faster service. This service has also been introduced in SATA’s airport office.
SATA has inaugurated an implant office at the Sharjah immigration Department. This office provides another outlet to serve residents requiring travel services. The office is equipped with a Galileo reservation system to help secure confirmed seats for those travelling out of UAE.

- Special Services staff also assist passengers requiring special help, such as unaccompanied children, elderly and disabled people. In addition they assist passengers in going through Immigration and Customs formalities.
Airport Handling
Ramp Service Section
- This section is responsible for receiving aircraft, positioning equipment, loading, offloading and aircraft push-back . The Ramp Service Section currently covers five aprons spread across five Kilometres. Its staff also carry out all the ramp work for Lufthansa Cargo Airlines' dedicated freight terminal.
Cargo section
Sharjah International Airport is the largest cargo hub in the Middle East and the largest sea-air hub in Asia. ACI figures have shown Sharjah International Airport ranking as 29th in world airfreight terms. Sharjah International Airport is strategically located midway between the Far East and Europe. We are in fact referred to as the ‘Crossroad of the South’.
We are an uncongested Airport, which means that priority service, for all airlines, is an accepted fact. We have available, 60 parking slots for aircraft and large apron space and warehousing capacity. Modern equipment to handle aircraft of all types. Probably our biggest asset is the ‘laissez faire’ attitude of the concerned Governmental Authorities such as Security, Immigration and Customs who are customer friendly and aim to serve.
- The Airport Authority management is always accessible and open to all suggestions of the airlines.

- Sharjah Airport offers the airline the option of ‘self handling’, if you would prefer to do so, either now or in the future.

Many airlines have benefited from the services and facilities we offer. Lufthansa has its largest network hub in Sharjah with approximately 300 flights every month outside of Frankfurt. Also operating here are Singapore Airlines, Eva Air, Cargolux, Egypt Air, Sudan Air and Martin Air among the major carriers.
Sharjah airport has five cargo terminals with a total floor area of 32,000 square metres served by separate cargo aircraft parking positions, equipped for loading 14 narrow bodied or 10 wide bodied aircraft or a combination of both. Two additional cargo aircraft parking areas are also available to accommodate up to 16 narrow bodied aircraft of different types. Sharjah is the only airport globally where two aircraft can swap their complete loads simultaneously, as is witnessed regularly, between the B747 freighters of Singapore Airlines cargo and Lufthansa Cargo. In this operation the two aircraft park next to each other on the cargo apron and their cargo’s are directly 'rollered' on and off into each others capacity. The ease at which this operation happens is credited to the airport’s up-to-date cargo handling equipment.
